Because God desires all people to be with Him now and forever, Zion Lutheran Church exists to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Zion Lutheran Church's mission is to PREACH and TEACH God's Word of law and Gospel, to ADMINISTER the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper, to BUILD UP the believers, to ENCOURAGE the weak in faith and to EVANGELIZE the lost.
Trusting in Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and Lord, we the members of Zion Lutheran Church commit ourselves to the Lord as we strive to:
Develop a growing personal relationship with Jesus through: Regular participation in Worship Celebrations and the Lord's Supper
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:25 NIV
"For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
