Billy Mistele reminds us to run the race, and not waiver in our Christian walk. Thank you, Billy.

"and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:20

This verse means much to me because it reminds me to show others the word and not to waiver of that while teaching. It also tells me that God will always be with me so there is no reason for me to be afraid or lonely.

"For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified."
1 Corinthians 2:2

This is the key verse for our 6th grade evening confirmation class. I asked the class to write out what Jesus meant to them. Praise the Lord; this is how they responded.

In Christ's Love,
Grant Gault

--"Jesus is our God and Savior. He died on the cross to save us from our sins. It is because of Him that we go to heaven."
--"He died on the cross for us. He loved us very much!"
--"Jesus means a lot to me because He died on the cross for us, so we can go to live with Him."
--"Jesus died on the cross to take away our sins so we can go to heaven. Jesus makes me feel like I'm more than just a person, He loves me for who I am."

Economic troubles, shootings, war, epidemics, corruption. Adults have a lot of concerns.

Our youth hear of these things, too. They also have their own situations that are stressful. There are times that our youth can teach us. Mady Urman shares two of her favorite verses and her thoughts on these verses. Thank you, Mady, for reminding us to give our worries to Jesus.

In Christ's Love,
Grant Gault

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Matthew 6:33-34

God takes care of me and looks after me. When I worry, I remember that and it helps me not to worry.

Brett Ludwig reminds all of us to rely on Jesus. He made us and has plans for us. Thank you, Brett, for sharing your thoughts with us.

Matthew 9:20-22
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

This is my favorite Bible verse because I believe without God, you can accomplish nothing. I believe if you put your faith in God, He will lead you on the right path.

Gracie Bumgarner shared the following, based on these verses from Matthew 9:20-22. Thank you, Gracie, for reminding us to rely completely on Jesus!

In Christ's Love,
Grant Gault

Matthew 9:20-22
Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed." Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter" he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment.

When you reach the end of your rope, You will find the hem of his garment.
Lord, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, and bless me, my family, my home, my finances, and all my friends, in Jesus' name. Amen.
-Gracie Bumgarner
